It was awesome hanging out with Chris Joslin yesterday. Our kids are really close in age and had a good time playing together.
As much as I love watching Chris skate, I really loved being able to see him and his wife being parents, not that different from Lindsey and I. I thought it would be cool to snag a picture of our two little families together.
My wife is my support and has helped me to spend time skateboarding and living out many of my passions. I know there are times that it’s difficult and that she makes sacrifices for me.
I could only imagine how much Julia does for Chris, especially at his caliber. It takes a lot of work to maintain a good family balance. Even though he is a giant in the skate world I can tell that being a dad and a family is still most important.
Much respect to Chris and his family. Good luck today. We are rooting for you.
